​Christmas cheer doesn’t need to be limited to the inside of your house. With the right preparation, your Stratco patio can be the perfect place to host a holiday gathering. Decorations
Those old pot plants and outdoor containers you have stored in the back of the shed are a great place to start. Fill them with small evergreens that invoke Christmas memories of yesterday and add some tree ornaments to their branches to add to the atmosphere.

Next, why not introduce some poinsettias to your outdoor living space. These Christmas plants are sure to put your family and guests in the Christmas spirit.

Almost any decoration you can use inside will work outside. Place a few Christmas candles on your patio décor, add some ornamental candy canes and maybe a reef or two where appropriate as well.

Of course, the decorating isn’t complete until you add the Christmas lights, which also happens to be a great way to brighten an outdoor area. Chances are, if you’re going to be entertaining outside at Christmas time, it’s going to be dark, and lights are the answer to brighten things up. Choose a colour theme – red and green or blue and white are great choices at Christmas time. Don’t be shy, add lights around the patio, in the trees around the yard and on the house too.

Heating Things Up
It can get super warm at this time of year, however, investing in a firepit to melt some marshmallows, or simply for the ambience is always a winner.  

Make the fire the focal point of your gathering area. Arrange patio furniture and any extra seating near it. Don’t forget to gather up some logs too. A fire is always a great gathering spot and will keep things very lively for the Christmas night ahead.
