This Stratco outback pergola has provided a nice, cool area out of the harsh summer Queensland sun for these Ormeau residents.
They have also opted for some add on Ambient blinds that are 'crank' controlled, which utilise a manual winding mechanism to raise and lower the blinds. This has provided a very cost effective alternative to remote control, motor driven blinds but still allows the flexibility of stopping the blinds in any position. I like that you talked about pairing the posts and insulated roofs to have a nice appearance when having a pergola construction project. I will keep that in mind so that I know what I need to consider when hiring a professional to build one in my backyard. Having this addition near the pool will create a space where we can enjoy some snacks after swimming during the summer season.
